Britton Church

Britton Church co-founded Ascent Investment Partners, with Tim Dosch, Tom Dosch and David Marshall in 2022 after spending 15 years in multifamily development with JLB Partners. During his time at JLB Britton was responsible for all development efforts across the DFW Market and supported development activity in Houston and Austin.

While at JLB Partners, Britton was involved in the development of over 7,000 multifamily units at a development cost in excess of $1.3 billion. His experience spans multiple municipalities throughout Texas and covers a wide range of responsibilities through the development process. A few notable achievements include being responsible for three successful rezoning efforts in the City of Grapevine, Texas totaling over 1,053 units at a construction cost of $136,000,000. Additionally, Britton was the lead developer on The Branch Development in Dallas, Texas, a four phase, 1,237-unit community that required an extensive rezoning effort and included many different development challenges.

Prior to joining JLB Partners, Britton was an associate at INCAP Fund located in Dallas, Texas. INCAP Fund bought class C multifamily properties in North Oak Cliff and repositioned them for multifamily and mixed-use redevelopment. He was responsible for all acquisition efforts, due diligence, entitlement processing and dispositions of investments to multifamily partners.

When not working Britton enjoys raising his three kids with his wife Beth. He is an active member of his local church, a board member, treasurer and finance committee chair for Coram Deo Academy and is involved in both the Real Estate Council and the Urban Land Institute.

Tim Dosch

Tim Dosch co-founded Ascent Investment Partners, with Britton Church, Tom Dosch, and David Marshall in 2022. Tim is responsible for corporate leadership, fundraising, and leads acquisitions and dispositions in Houston.

Tim also co-founded Dosch Marshall Real Estate (DMRE) with David Marshall and Tom Dosch in 2017. Since its inception, DMRE has grown by 500% and has established offices in Dallas / Fort Worth and Austin, in addition to the Houston headquarters.

A 20-year veteran of the commercial land business, Tim has led his team to over 450 land transactions totaling over $2.8 Billion in transaction volume and over $21 Billion in new construction added to the Texas economy. Tim’s highly focused approach to the land business has delivered consistent top-of-the market results for his clients. He has transacted several deals that have been awarded Houston Business Journal deal of the year. Among his many notable transactions, Tim sold a 6-acre tract of land at the hard corner of W Alabama and Kirby for over $50 Million and a total development capitalization approaching $400 Million. The resulting 40 story residential luxury high-rise, boutique condo high-rise and grocery anchored mixed-use development are some of the finest in Houston. Tim has won the top spot on the Houston Business Journal Heavy Hitter list multiple times and was named a 2021 HBJ 40 Under 40 honoree.

Tim graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in Political Science. He is married to his wife, Kristen, and has four children, Luke, Savannah, Lydia and Clara. He is a founder and board member of 100X Harvest and Truth of Life Ministries.

Tom Dosch

Tom Dosch co-founded Ascent Investment Partners, with Britton Church, Tim Dosch, and David Marshall in 2022. Tom is responsible for implementing the strategic vision of Ascent and overseas the acquisition of new opportunities.

Tom is also the co-founder with Tim Dosch and David Marshall of Dosch Marshall Real Estate (DMRE) a land brokerage Company based in Texas. Tom focuses on running day-today operations of DMRE and leads the Dallas/ Fort Worth Office, sourcing and selling land tracts across the market. Since 2012, Tom has participated in over $2 billion in land transactions gaining invaluable experience locating on and off-market urban redevelopment and suburban land development opportunities. Prior to DMRE, Tom was a Principal of the ARA Newmark Houston Land Division and prior to that worked in Investment Banking.

Tom has been involved in several notable transactions across Texas including representing Caydon, Hines, and Brookdale to build high-rises in Houston, Trammel Crow in their Purchase of two mid-rise phases of MF land in Austin, CEI in their purchase of 5 MF Development Tracts in Celina, and AHS on two high rises in Fort Worth. Tom has also represented several of the largest National Developers across the State; Hines in multiple land purchases in Houston and Dallas; Trammel Crow Residential in Austin, Dallas, and Houston; Alliance Residential, Greystar Residential, and Mill Creek Residential on purchase in Dallas and Houston.

Tom graduated with honors in Finance from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University and is a licensed real estate broker. Tom is married to his wife, Jackie, and they have three children: Annette, James, and Stephen. He is a founder and board member of 100X Harvest and has served on several non-profit boards.

David Marshall

David Marshall co-founded Ascent Investment Partners, with Britton Church, Tim Dosch, and Tom Dosch in 2022. David is responsible for sourcing deal opportunities and leading disposition of Ascent properties in the Houston market.

David Marshall also co-founded Dosch Marshall Real Estate (DMRE) with Tim Dosch and Tom Dosch in 2017. At DMRE, David specializes in urban redevelopment and suburban land sales for all buyer and seller types. He oversees all aspects of the transaction process from valuation, pricing strategies, marketing and client contact, due diligence, and negotiations of the purchase and sale agreement through deal funding. David is also involved in client development. David has been involved in close to $3 billion in land transactions. Prior to DMRE, David was a Principal of the ARA Newmark Houston Land Division and prior to that worked in corporate real estate consulting.

David has completed several noteworthy sales in Houston. He listed 6 acres of land in the Upper Kirby area and sold it off in multiple transactions to: Hanover for high-rise development, a condo developer, and a mixed-use grocery-anchored developer. David also completed the listing and sale of one of the last available development tracts in Greenway Plaza for a high-rise office building and a full block of Midtown for a mixed-use Whole Foods anchored development. David obtained a BBA in Finance from Baylor University and is a licensed real estate broker.

David is married to his wife, Donna, and they have three daughters, Lila, Charlie, and Molly. He is a founder and board member of 100X Harvest and Star of Hope Ministries.

Anne Bryan

Anne Bryan, Transaction Director at Ascent, is responsible for leading Transaction Management, Listings Management, Client Contact, and Management of Due Diligence during the sale process at the Dallas/Fort Worth Office.

Prior to joining Ascent, Anne worked at Venture Commercial for 4 years where she specialized in land transactions with mixed-use components including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, joint ventures, and site development work. During her time at Venture, Anne worked closely with team members to close over 60 land transactions totaling over 2,000 acres across the DFW metroplex. She considers it a privilege to represent her clients and continuously strives to earn the trust they place in her.

Anne graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a BS in finance and a minor in real estate. As a Florida transplant in the DFW area, Anne loves being a part of the larger Dallas community and having a role in its continued economic development.

In her spare time, Anne enjoys traveling, spending time with family, practicing yoga, and eating out.

Austin Parrish

Austin joined Ascent Investment Partners in 2022. Austin is responsible for fundraising, investment analysis, and portfolio management.

Prior to joining Ascent Investment Partners, Austin worked as a land broker specializing in the urban infill Dallas-Fort Worth market. Austin moved to the DFW metroplex in 2016 where his fresh perspective and brokerage expertise provides his clients and partners with a dynamic understanding of hypergrowth urban/suburban markets. Austin is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and The Real Estate Council (TREC).

Austin graduated with honors from The University of Alabama where he received his bachelor’s degree from The Culverhouse College of Business. Austin and his wife, Carlie, are active members of Watermark Community Church where they spend their time serving the local Dallas community and surrounding neighbors through local faith-based non-profits like Apartment Life. Austin’s resourcefulness, drive, and humility make him an ideal partner when considering any real estate acquisition, disposition, or investment.
