DALLAS, TX – February 26, 2025 – Ascent Investment Partners is pleased to announce the sale of Foster Crossing Phase II, a 14.46-acre multi-family land site in Anna, Texas, to Freestone Development. This transaction marks the successful exit of Ascent’s investment in Foster Crossing, a prime development site strategically positioned in one of the country’s fastest-growing cities.

This transaction follows the August 2023 sale of Foster Crossing Phase I to Alliance Residential, one of the nation’s leading multifamily developers. Trey McGhin of Dosch Marshall Real Estate (“DMRE”) represented Ascent in purchasing the Property in 2022 and selling to Alliance in 2023 and Freestone in 2025. “It is incredible to think this marks the 6th land tract DMRE has closed on Foster Crossing in Anna since 2022; 2 Multifamily Tracts, 2 Investment Tracts, a Build for Rent Tract, and a large acreage mixed-use tract” said Trey McGhin of DMRE.
Located off the intersection of East Foster Crossing Road and South Powell Parkway, the site benefits from Anna’s rapid population expansion, infrastructure improvements, and increasing commercial demand. The acquisition by Freestone Development will further enhance the area’s economic landscape, complementing the multifamily development by Alliance Residential in Phase I.
